Rachel Duncan 2025 NAWIC Excellence Awards finalist

We’re very proud of BPC Quantity Surveyor (QS) Rachel Duncan being recognised as a finalist in the Student Category of this year’s National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Excellence Awards.

Since joining BPC, Rachel has developed into an accomplished QS with a real passion for her role and supporting her team to deliver the best outcomes. After achieving a Weltec Diploma in Construction (Quantity Surveying), she’s now studying online with Otago Polytechnic towards a degree to support her career goal of becoming a Commercial Manager.

Rachel brings the same discipline and determination she demonstrates at work to her sporting activities, winning her weightlifting class in the 2023 Junior Oceania Championships and competing in the World Championships in Mexico. She’s also passionate about working to ensure other young women understand the wide range of rewarding careers open to them in construction and infrastructure.
