About us

Brian Perry Civil is a specialist ground engineering and civil construction company. We deliver complex and technically challenging projects that address far-reaching community, environmental, and social outcomes.

We grew out of an innovative business first established in the Waikato in 1954. The same passion and entrepreneurial spirit that drove the early days still thrives within the business today.

We operate across sectors where we can add value through our expertise in foundations, structures, and marine works, and across the whole water sector delivering treatment, storage, and distribution infrastructure projects.

Our values

Protect | We believe all injuries are preventable. The safety and wellbeing of our people and everyone who works on site with us underpins everything we do.

Be Bold | We relish a challenge and we serve our communities.

Customer Leading | Where others may only see risk, we see possibilities to innovate and collaborate.

Better Together | We work alongside other Fletcher businesses, as well as with designers and competitor contractors, to play our part in transforming Aotearoa New Zealand.

Sustainability

We are committed to our customers, communities, and the environment. Our goal is to build innovative and sustainable practices to help shape the future.

As part of the Fletcher Construction division, we have established a sustainability working group to support our sustainability goals, including initiatives around Environmental, Social Outcomes, Water, and Waste. Reducing carbon emissions is a key part of our commitment.

We are ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 accredited, ensuring that our HSEQ initiatives are supported by effective management processes.

Local impact

We are proud to be both locally responsive and nationally resourced, leveraging employment, training, and development programmes from Fletcher Building to enhance social outcomes on our projects.

We partner with a wide range of private training establishments, government agencies, and education providers to provide financial support and generate local job placement and work experience opportunities.

Our Māori leadership programme, Whakatupu, is helping develop a pipeline of Māori leaders, and we participate in the Growing Pasifika Niu leadership programme to provide development opportunities to Pacific leaders.

At BPC I’ve learned more than I’d imagined I’d be learning – a lot of doors have opened up.
