Bluff Town Wharf wins category at National CCNZ Awards 2022
BPC celebrates its Bluff Town Wharf rebuild team, winners of the $5-20M project category at the Civil Contractors New Zealand National Awards.
The project exemplifies BPC’s Made Possible approach – developing an alternative solution that enabled the project to be delivered for South Port NZ under budget and ahead of their programme requirements.
BPC Southern Region Manager Blair Mould said Project Manager Olga Joensuu and her team worked tirelessly in a challenging environment, showcasing our people’s commitment to developing workable solutions to meet client’s requirements and budgets. “We innovated through sequencing and our approach to piling. Without BPC’s alternative solution and the outstanding commitment of everyone involved, it is unlikely this project would have proceeded.”
