The new domestic wharf terminal in Port Vila will strengthen interisland connectivity and enhance shipping services to the outer islands.

The Project is being delivered for the Vanuatu Project Management Unit (VPMU) of the Prime Minister’s Office for the Government of Vanuatu.

Total scope includes brand new wharf infrastructure, marine works, and associated landside works.

The key elements of the project comprise the demolition and removal of the existing reinforced concrete wharf structure and site clearance; construction of the new interisland domestic terminal comprising a RORO ramp, wharf platform, and finger wharf utilising concrete bored piles, precast beams, deck and fenders, and in-situ reinforced concrete deck with associated wharf furniture, and related navigational items and yard infrastructure.
