Waikanae WTP progress

BPC’s structures team have completed the post tensioning and grouting of the new clarifier tank for the Waikanae Water Treatment Plant. Project Manager Daniel Doyle says they are now constructing an internal launder in the run up to Christmas.

“We also have a civils crew, progressing well laying the pipelines that feed raw water to the new plant,” he said. “Within the plant, mechanical contractors Filtec Ltd and Max Tarr Group have started mechanical fit out work to the new chlorine dosing building and new blower room.”

BPC is delivering the project for the Kāpiti Coast District Council.
