Safety performance impresses
BPC’s Piletech team is impressing with their safety performance screw piling for a retaining wall, bunker, and car park at Mainfreight’s development project in Favona, Auckland.
Site Engineer Fatima Atonio says a total of 191 piles are being installed to 23m for the three-stage project. “We completed the retaining wall piles in May, the second stage car park piles at the end of June, and now we’re working on the bunker piles. We expect to have them completed in the first week of August, with concrete pours to be done in stages a few weeks later.”
The team’s performance has been recognised by the client – “Of all the subcontractors on site, Piletech is number one for safety”.
