CCNZ Awards success

BPC is proud to have two of its projects awarded Highly Commended at the 2024 Civil Contractors New Zealand (CCNZ) National Awards.

The Awatea project, Highly Commended in the $2-5M category, remediated major Cyclone Gabrielle damage on an Auckland cliff face. Foundations Contract Manager Amit Chaudhary said through innovation, collaboration, and sheer hard work, the team overcame every obstacle on the very challenging project.

The Taranaki Street Pump Station, Highly Commended in the $5-20M category, was delivered for Wellington Water on a tight site beside one of the capital’s busiest intersections. Project Engineer Jacob Walmsley said forty-two 900m diameter secant piles 19m below ground level form the pump station’s superstructure.
