Innovative Young Minds

Our Whakawhirinaki Silverstream Bridge team members were happy to engage with participants in the Innovative Young Minds (IYM) programme, which encourages young women to explore science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and high-tech manufacturing (STEMM) careers.

​The 40 young women who visited the site were attending a five-day course in Wellington to inform and inspire them around the range of STEMM careers available.

Alicia Teasdale, Hayden Chapman, Glenn Boyer, and Summer Laraman spoke about their roles in the project and the opportunities for engineering and other careers in our industry.
