Our Bothamley Park wastewater upgrade team showcased their project to a Women's Infrastructure Network (WIN) group on a recent visit to the Porirua site. Nearly 50 BPC people are working on the project, spread over seven sites.

Alastair Dickens and Greg Cullen explained the overall project and the significant benefits it would deliver for local communities and the surrounding environment, before taking the group to see the drill shots underway. Using horizontal directional drilling instead of open trenching is saving the loss of many trees in the park and helping protect the adjacent Kenepuru Stream.
