Showcasing PipeWorks' expertise
Our PipeWorks team gave a behind-the-scenes look at pipe rehabilitation operations at their liner wet-out facility to members of the Composites Association of New Zealand (CANZ).
CANZ represents organisations involved in laminated fibre-reinforced polymer, carbon-reinforced polymer, and other advanced resin and fibre composite systems. PipeWorks Contracts Manager Jaco Griessel said the visit was a valuable opportunity to demonstrate how these innovative materials are being applied in the water and wastewater infrastructure sector through PipeWorks' trenchless rehabilitation solutions. Attendees observed a live liner wet-out demonstration and received an overview of PipeWorks’ pipelining capabilities, highlighting the role that composite technologies play in extending asset life, reducing disruption to communities, and improving the resilience of critical infrastructure networks across New Zealand.
“The feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive,” Jaco said. “We’re proud to be at the forefront of applying advanced composite technologies to help future-proof New Zealand's essential infrastructure assets.”
