Fundraising champions
We’re proud of our intrepid BPC team members who raised $8,000 for the Kids in Need charity running in the recent Blue Lake 24 Hour Challenge. The team exceeded their goal by completing a total of 582km walking and running.
The annual 24 Hour Challenge is a self-supported trail running endurance race around a 5.5km loop at Lake Tikitapu (Blue Lake) in Rotorua. The event is free to enter, with teams and individuals using the 24-hour window to raise money for their chosen charities. Our team chose to fundraise for Kids in Need Waikato, which provides essential items for children entering care, including clothing, pyjamas, underwear, shoes, school supplies, and hygiene products.
Congratulations to Mike Clayton, Lee Griffiths, Ben Ackerman, Marius Thesner, Adam Plimmer, Katrina Chantler, Tara Ryan, Paul Dalton and their friends and family members who participated, and thanks to everyone who contributed to their fundraising success.
