Rangiuru Business Park Bridge beams installed

BPC’s team did a great job successfully installing eight 65-tonne precast bridge beams at Higgins’ Rangiuru Business Park Interchange project in the Bay of Plenty for Quayside Properties Ltd. Months of planning and preparation paid off, with the work completed without a hitch.

Night-time road closures were required to complete the work on the bridge, constructed across the busy SH2 Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road and completed within two nights.

The team engaged McLeod Cranes, using 350-tonne and 230-tonne cranes to tandem lift the beams.
