Exciting interest in infrastructure careers
BPC team members inspired Tauranga secondary school students at a recent Careers in Infrastructure event focused on Māori and Pasifika teenagers.
Our team (from left) Mahe Pofele, Mike Clayton, Hikurangi Ratu, Ariana Adams, and Tu Maea talked to over 50 students about the wide range of opportunities that infrastructure careers offered.
The Te Anga Whakamua team at Tauranga Boys and Girls Colleges praised the team for their input, saying the feedback from students had been “amazing”.
Our team will be following up with students who have asked for one-on-one sessions, such as ‘spend a day with the engineer’, to learn more about infrastructure careers.
