Backing supplier diversity

BPC team members met with suppliers at a recent ‘Meet the Buyer’ event in Hamilton organised by diversity advocate organisation Amotai. The event aimed to expand networks, make new connections, and enable local businesses to meet buyer organisations interested in contracting from Māori and Pasifika suppliers.

Ariane believes there is “huge value” in partnering with diverse suppliers. “I’m proud that BPC recognises the added social value that comes from buying from Māori and Pasifika businesses, and the broader positive impact we have on our communities.”
