CFA wireless concrete sensors
Introducing Continuous Flight Augur (CFA) Wireless Stroke Counters has revolutionised BPC’s approach to concrete monitoring during piling – improving accuracy, quality, and safety, lowering costs, and reducing environmental impact.
In the past the use of concrete transducers required significant labour and time to set up and maintain and were prone to errors due to changes in the concrete slump throughout the day. The new technology allows our crews to monitor concrete flow and quality in real-time, without misreading any concrete volumes passing through the piling rig.
The wireless sensors provide accurate concrete pump stroke counts, eliminating the potential for errors associated with traditional concrete transducers. They are quick and easy to install between the pump and piling rig, reducing setup time and labour costs.
By reducing the need for extensive maintenance and downtime due to calibration and manual monitoring, the wireless sensors lower overall project costs.
The accurate monitoring of concrete volumes through the Piling Rigs Data System (DMS) ensures clients receive precise quality reports.
