BPC’s partnership with Working Load to deliver temporary works risk management with access scaffolding at the Downtown Ferry Terminal project in Auckland has been recognised in the CCNZ Construction Awards 2026. 

The app technology was developed by Working Load, who worked with BPC to successfully beta-test it on the Downtown Ferry Terminal’s Low Emission Ferry Landside Infrastructure project. BPC’s subcontractor Access Scaffolding joined that testing as a partner, providing another lens to solve their needs as a scaffolding contractor.

The app pulls together multiple levers that support good temporary works performance into a single environment – driving clear accountability, planning, task-tracking, competency development, technical library democratisation, and continuous improvement of processes, as well as project performance, governance, and compliance reporting.

The outcome of the iterative cycle of beta-testing and feature development is a world-first ConTech web application that enables projects of any size with a market-leading innovation. The Working Load app is now available to any civil contractor in New Zealand as a commercially available, New Zealand-specific, SaaS product.
