CCNZ Waikato Award Winner $5M–$10M projects

We’re proud of our Central Region team winners of the $5M - $10M projects category of the Civil Contractors New Zealand Waikato Awards for the military vehicle cleaning station they constructed on behalf of the New Zealand Defence Force in the Waiouru Military Camp.

The judges said BPC’s team “identified the high-risk aspects of the Waiouru Wash Point Project and applied mitigating measures - 3D excavator imaging, GPR, hydrovac, and robust onsite management”.

“This focus on meeting construction challenges with effective communication and solutions provided the client successful outcomes, highlighted by the extremely high 96% client satisfaction in their Exit Interview, worthy of this CAT 3 Award for 2026.”

The project involved constructing two separate manual wash areas to service large military plant, such as tanks, plus an automated wash system for light vehicles. The project enhanced operational needs during peak times while minimising water usage and environmental impacts.
