CCNZ Bay of Plenty winners

Congratulations to our BPC Project Burgundy team for winning Category C (projects over $5M) at the Bay of Plenty Civil Contractors New Zealand Awards.

The large scale civils project was delivered for the new Laminex Orientated Strand Board (OSB) factory being built in Taupō.

The judges said the project was large scale by footprint, complexity, and value, “meticulously planned and carried through to completion”. They highlighted the “innovative methodologies, environmental considerations, and smart use of materials” and said there was good evidence of adaptability and problem-solving skills as well as a people focus.

Brett Cookson accepted the award on behalf of Project Manager Mark Seymour and the team who delivered the impressive project.
