Cliff Road CertThe Cliff Road Retaining Wall project carried out in St Heliers, Auckland won the 2009 NZCF Hirepool Award in Category 3 ($2.5m to $5m).

The works involved the construction of an in-ground retaining structure for cliff stabilisation around Achilles Point.

These works required a total wall length in order of 190m, with associated drainage, road reinstatement and landscape works.

The work was carried out on a National heritage site at Achilles Point which is also a historic site for the Navy and Iwi.
